SALES
Debbie, originally from Atlanta, GA attended West Georgia College. In 1971,she married Roy and joined him in the copier business. In the following years, Roy and Debbie had two children, Courtney and Brad. As copier business owners, they won numerous sales awards, including the Minolta Honor Council Top 25 in Region for ten years straight which allowed them to travel to different places around the world and their most recent award for being named Top 25 in the nation for Copystar sales.
Roy,a native of Elberton, GA graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA in Business Management.He began selling copiers in 1970 for SCM Corporation,and was quickly promoted to the Branch Manager for their Nashville location.He married Debbie in 1971 and they left Nashville the next year to start their own business.During this time,Roy graduated from the OCS School and became an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves.In 1999,Roy and Debbie moved to Statesboro where they now reside.
Brad attended the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a minor in Computer Science. He later attended GSU and received a Masters Degree in Health Care Management. After graduation, he served as the Asst. Administrator of Emanuel Medical Center. In 2004,Brad decided to join his parents at DOE. He has taken active roles in civic clubs and various committees since moving to Statesboro. Brad and his wife Abbie have two sons, Hunter and Walker.
Courtney attended GSU where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Child Life Specialist.After graduation,she served as Director of Chamber Programs for the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce for 14 years.She also served on the Area 13 Management Team for the Special Olympics as the Volunteer Coordinator for 7 years. She was excited to join in the family business. Courtney married Matt in 2004 and has two stepchildren Raleigh and Harrison.
Nichole attended the University of South Carolina Aiken where she was awarded the R.E. Phelon Chancellor's Scholarship and the SC Palmetto Fellows Scholarship. She was honored as a Double Knot Scholar & was a member of Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society & Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. Upon graduation in 2006, she received a B.A. in Communications, Magna Cum Laude. She joined the DOE staff in 2011. She and her husband Charlie reside outside of Statesboro with their twins, Adley & Lane.
Kathleen joined the DOE team in 2019. She is a GSU graduate with a BBA in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude). She last served as Assistant VP, Controller for Farmers & Merchants Bank for 17 years. She and her husband James reside in Statesboro with their daughter Katlyn. She enjoys serving as the Cookie Mom for her daughter's Girl Scout Troop.
Terri joined the DOE team in February of 2015 as our Customer Service Representative and later became our receptionist where she spent several years before moving to Accounts Receivables and Payables. Before coming to DOE, she owned her own toner supply company for over six years. She and her husband Matt have two sons, Matthew and Josh.
Julie joined our team in 2023. She was born and raised in Jenkins County, but now resides in Statesboro. She studied Business Administration at Swainsboro Technical College. She and her husband Robert have a beautiful, blended family with 7 children and 13 grandchildren.
Wade leads DOE's Sales team, providing clients with superior document production technology.Prior to joining DOE, he was a Sales Manager for Verizon Wireless.With a strong knowledge of deploying IT solutions credited with strong ROI and operational improvement and over 20 years of sales experience,he continues to strive for growth and success for DOE.He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business Administration.He and his family have called Statesboro home for over 23 years.
Hugh started his career with DOE in 2009 while attending Georgia Southern University. After graduating with a B.A. in History, he became a Solutions Consultant. In 2018, he was promoted to the Sales Manager for the Thomson Branch. He is very active in civic organizations, with leadership roles in BNI (Business Networkers International), Statesboro Jaycees and the Ogeechee Masonic Lodge. He was named in the Top 20 Under 40 presented by the Statesboro Herald for 2018.
Kasey joined the DOE team in 2021. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2020 with a B.S. in Psychology. She is originally from Dearing, Ga and currently lives in Statesboro with her two fur babies, Moose and Frankie.
Mark Simms joined the DOE team in May of 2017. He graduated from Newberry College in SC and has spent most of his career in office products sales and sales management, much of it in Atlanta. His focus was in dictation/transcription services, speech recognition and phone systems, but also worked closely with copy reps in the healthcare market. He moved back to Statesboro 3 years ago with his wife Diane. They have three children and are expecting their first grandchild this year!
Matthew joined the DOE team in March of 2023. Prior to working with DOE Matthew did 10 years in law enforcement in the Atlanta area before moving to a farm in Glascock County. Matthew spends his spare time with his wife and two sons on their property hunting and fishing. Matthew is the founder of Buckhorn Ministries and creates hunting videos and incorporates his faith and love for the outdoors.
Chris joined the DOE team in Thomson in September 2023. Originally from Sacramento CA, he joined the Marine Corps at the age of 20 serving 10 years as an Avionics Technician before transitioning to recruiting. He retired from the Marine Corps in 2020 after serving 20 honorable years. Specializing in Sales & Process Improvement, he currently resides in Evans, GA with his wife Melissa & their three children. Active in the community, Chris enjoys coaching his son’s sports teams in Columbia County.
Ted joined the DOE team in December of 2023. After spending five years in the Automotive Industry between two dealer's groups, it was time for a change. Ted was born and raised in Augusta, Ga and just recently moved to Waynesboro, Ga with his wife Mary Beth. Ted loves the challenges and opportunities that sales has to offer, especially meeting new people every day. When not at work he enjoys time with his family, anything Georgia Bulldogs, and especially His Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
SERVICE
David joined the DOE Staff in August 2012.He is armed with experience in small business consulting and extensive knowledge of office equipment and supplies.He graduated as an Honors Scholar from GSU with a Bachelor's Degree in History,along with a minor in Geographic Information Systems.David is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Science.Before joining the DOE Staff,he served as a multi-unit manager for OfficeMax for eleven years.He and his wife Jeannie have three kids.
Michael joined the DOE Service Department in 2009. He attended Swainsboro Technical College, where he received certifications in Heating & Air and Electrical Construction & Maintenance. Michael and his wife Jessica live in Statesboro and have four children.
Cameron started his career with DOE in 2017 as a part time delivery assistant. He eventually transitioned into a full time tech. He is a Statesboro local and has attended college at Georgia Southern. He prides himself on being hardworking and outgoing.
Gregory Hendrix joined the DOE team in July of 2016. Before he started working at DOE, he attended Savannah Technical College where he trained in mechanical systems. Gregory resides on Isle Of Hope, right outside of Savannah GA.
James joined the DOE staff in 2019 after spending 20 years in the Pest Control and Pet Shop Industries. He and his wife Kathleen have been married for 26 years and they reside in Statesboro with their daughter, Katlyn. James enjoys hunting, fishing and family time.
Caleb joined the DOE team in 2021. He was born and raised in Statesboro. He loves to fish, visit aquariums, play video games and spend time with his family -- especially his two daughters.
Destiny joined DOE in 2022 after dispatching with a HVAC/Plumbing company. She has been in the customer service industry for over 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and her daughter, Harper.
Information Technology
Craig Liggett joined the DOE team in July 2023. Originally from Kansas City, he earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri and Master's degree from Georgia State University. He retired from the Public Education sector after serving for 34 years as teacher, Network Manager and CIO. Craig and his wife Diana have three children.
